The Government has published the list of EU laws that will be revoked at the end of this year.
This follows amendments to the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill.
In fact, the majority of the regulations to be repealed are now defunct following the UK’s departure from the EU.
Key industry health and safety legislation, such as the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), and Work at Height Regulations are not on the list of EU laws be revoked by 31 December 2023.
However, further EU regulations may be repealed or amended after this date in accordance with the provisions in the Bill.
