On a recent ISG project, the organisation’s Sustainability Manager shared information with residents on upcoming noisy and disruptive works.
Part of the company’s social value plan, the plan saw residents living in close proximity to the site kept up-to-date.
The Sustainability Manager responded by keeping the community informed of upcoming works by producing a simplified and non-construction lingo version of their own programme, with the community version only focusing on those works which had the potential to cause real disturbance.
As a result, the organisation created its ‘community monthly programme’.
