THINK! Don’t Put Drugs in the Driving Seat

CLOCS is supporting the Department for Transport’s THINK! Don’t Put Drugs in the Driving Seat campaign.

Many people are unaware that some drugs can remain detectable in the body long after their effects have worn off. A driver may feel fit to drive but could still fail a roadside drug test days later, facing serious consequences, including a driving ban, loss of employment and even imprisonment.

Impaired driving also increases the risk of harm to other road users, with potentially devastating consequences for individuals, families and communities.
