New Social Value Model

The Government has announced a new Social Value Model for central Government departments from 1 January 2027 to ensure procurement supports local communities. Under PPN 026, contracts valued at £1 million or more will have a minimum weighting of 10% (20% for contracts over £5 million) towards a range of social value criteria. Further guidance will be published in October.
