Build UK updates Drugs and Alcohol Policy

Build UK has updated its template Drugs and Alcohol Policy.

It comes with the support of Eurofins Workplace Drug Testing and is endorsed by the CLC (Construction Leadership Council).

The Drugs and Alcohol Policy update is in response to calls for a consistent framework for drug and alcohol testing across the construction industry.

Copies of the new policy are available for all subscribers to the Construction Health and Safety Manual.

Subscribers to the online Health and Safety Manual can get access to the updated policy here.

The objective is to provide a consistent approach to the use of drugs and alcohol which can become universal across the whole supply chain.

Companies can adopt the policy in its entirety or incorporate elements of it into their own policy documents.
