IEMA becomes ISEP, the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals

In July this year after a two year membership consultation IEMA, the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment has  become The Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), representing sustainability and environmental professionals globally – across government, business and society.  The new name supports a broader focus on sustainability, alongside the organisation’s long-standing environmental remit.

While the structure and criteria for membership remain exactly the same, the post-nominals associated with each level have been updated to align with the new ISEP identity.

• AIEMA (Associate Membership) becomes AISEP
• PIEMA (Practitioner Membership) becomes PISEP
• MIEMA (Full Membership) becomes MISEP
